Around 25,000 homes in Queensland's southeast found themselves without power on Monday's dawn after severe thunderstorms impacted the area, generating wind gusts topping over 100 km/h.
Massive Hailstones and Widespread Destruction
Homeowners reported giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been affected by significant hail.
