Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth consecutive victory.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on game day, the Seahawks secured their place to the postseason after a two-year hiatus.
With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's standings with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 standing.
